In this context, the OECD emphasises the importance of creating more and better jobs and strengthening strengthen labour markets’ inclusiveness and resilience through the transformations linked to demographic change, the green transition and the adoption of digital technologies including AI.

Business at OECD’s Employment, Labour, and Social Affairs Committee actively informs the OECD’s analysis and recommendations to support flexible and inclusive labour markets, and foster private sector-led job creation. Business at OECD also helps shape the OECD’s discussions on key labour market issues such as access to skilled labour, transformations linked to demographic change, the green transition and the adoption of digital technologies, including AI, as well as on key social policy issues such as sustainably financed social protection.
